Delivery charges are calculated based on the total weight of your order, or, the total
volumetric weight in the case of an order consisting of bulky but lightweight items.
If the order totals more than 30kg in weight, or the item is bigger than 3 metres
in combined height and girth, then the delivery charge is capped at £8.95*
for express delivery and £8.50* for the economy service. This means you
will not pay more than the capped rate no matter how much you order.
Spend over £150 and we will pay the delivery charge and we
will also ensure your order is despatched on a next working day delivery
service.
Orders received by 3.00pm (2:30pm for Northern Ireland, UK islands and Highlands)
will be despatched the same day provided that goods are in stock. We will make
every effort to contact you and notify you of any delay in processing your order if
an item is found not to be in stock. You will receive email notification when your
order is received and you will also be sent notification when your goods are despatched
with a scheduled delivery date.
Please note we use Parcelforce and Parceline for all of our UK mainland deliveries.
Express Service
The 'Express' service is a next working day service, meaning orders placed
before 3pm Monday to Thursday will be delivered the next day and orders placed
before 3pm on Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. Please note
that although this service is generally very reliable (98.9% April 2008 - April
2009) IT IS NOT GUARANTEED and no delivery time is stipulated***. The service
is trackable and if you call us then we will be happy to supply you with tracking
details of your parcel. A signature will be required as a proof of receipt
of goods. We will accept special instructions to leave with a neighbour
if you think you might not be in.

Please note some UK destinations are too remote to receive a next day service from
Parcelforce. Please check
here to see whether your postcode is able to receive next day deliveries before
placing an order and paying for this service.
Economy Service
Our 'Economy' service is delivery within 2-3 working days. A signature will
be required as a proof of receipt of goods.

**No deliveries will be made on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and
bank holidays.
***A guaranteed next day or weekend delivery will incur a surcharge and
must be arranged by phone. We can arrange a guaranteed timed service for delivery
before 9am, 10am and noon.
Surcharges
Due to higher rates imposed by our carriers to access remote areas we apply a minimum
of £5.95 delivery surcharge on all deliveries to Highland areas and areas
not mainland UK - i.e. all offshore and islands. If you live in a remote
area then you will find the amended cost of delivery will be displayed at the point
of checkout before any payment is taken. If you are unsure whether you are subject
to this surcharge then please call us or consult the Parelforce website for the full
list of zone 2 and 3 exceptions.
Out of Stock Items
All products with an add to cart button on this site
are stock items and available for online order or collection. If upon receipt
of your order a product is found to be out of stock, we will attempt to inform you immediately
as to the next possible delivery date. If you are planning to collect then we advise
that you phone in advance to ensure items are in stock.
We stock a wide range of products and our warehouse is open to the public for
collection of goods from Monday to Friday without the need for you to make an appointment.
We can accept payment by cash, cheque and all major credit cards but there is a
minimum order requirement of £10 for cash and £15 for card or cheque.
